Rotary International Zones
25 & 26

2006-08 Zones 25 & 26 Director
Don & Carolyn Mebus

Hi Everyone,

I hope, if you have not already registered for the upcoming Rotary International convention in Los Angeles, you are preparing to do so. Presently, we have 543 registered from Zone 25 and 387 for Zone 26. His good news is: To help in this effort, I'm delighted to report important new information for your Rotarians:

Rotarians will be permitted to continue to use the option of sending LA2008 Registration Forms to RI via FAX.  International Meetings Division accept all worldwide onsite registrations received on-line, via fax and mail by 31 May, at the onsite registration rate."

The registration fee will be at the current/onsite rate of $345US; and, RI will honor receipt of faxed registration forms. (The same fax number that is currently on the registration forms.) Please pass this information out to all of the Rotarians in your districts and if you have not yet registered, please do so today!

If you haven't already registered, then here is another reason to do so. Well sir, since you will be in the neighborhood anyway, why don't your sign up for some good vittles, (yes, I know it is victuals, but we don't say it that way in the West), hot coffee and a pot load of fun. The King n' Trio are gonna sing for us and a really funny Cajun guy, Kent Gonsoulin, is gonna make some jokes that will have you slappin your knee and laughin until you cry. (Yes, you can bring grandma and the kids.)

See the attached poster. Click here for details. You can get your tickets through your district governor, and if she or he is sold out, you can get them from DG Dean Jackson, djackson@rockycanyon.org or even me, don.mebus@rotary.org. Please help spread the word to those in your district that are attending the Convention. Ye Ha!

 Your friend,
Don Mebus, RI Director 2006-08
